Poem – Gods Voice
The Voice of the Lord
A Rhyming Poem on Psalm 29
The voice of God upon the sea,
Moves with power and majesty.
The thunder rolls across the sky,
Yet God Almighty reigns on high.
The cedars strong that proudly stand,
Are broken by His mighty hand.
The mountains shake, the deserts cry,
When Godโs great voice is passing by.
The lightning flashes through the air,
Creation trembles everywhere.
The forests bow, the oceans roar,
Before the Lord whom all adore.
Yet in the storm His saints can rest,
For God will always give His best.
Though winds may rage and trials increase,
The Lord still speaks His perfect peace.
When hearts are weak and faith grows dim,
His strength is found alone in Him.
The weary soul, the troubled mind,
In God alone true rest can find.
His voice can calm the darkest fear,
For every child He still draws near.
The world may shake from shore to shore,
But Christ remains for evermore.
The Lord gives strength unto His own,
They never walk through life alone.
And after every storm employed,
He leaves His people filled with joy.
So let the earth give God His praise,
And honour Him throughout our days.
For power and peace belong above,
To Him whose voice still speaks with love.
