Poem Psalm Chapter 34
Psalm 34 โ Poem
โTaste and Seeโ
I sought the Lord in darkened night,
And He surrounded me with light.
My trembling heart, so worn with fear,
Was lifted up when God drew near.
The poor man cried with tearful face,
Yet found in God amazing grace.
The lions hunger, weak and worn,
But those who trust shall be reborn.
O taste and see the Lord is good,
He shelters all beneath His blood.
Though storms may rise and mountains shake,
His faithful hand will never break.
The angel of the Lord stands near,
Around the soul that walks in fear.
Not fear of man nor earthly strife,
But holy awe that guards our life.
Come children now and hear His voice,
In righteousness let hearts rejoice.
Keep back your tongue from cruel deceit,
And let your words be pure and sweet.
Turn from evil, seek the way,
And follow peace from day to day.
The eyes of God behold the just,
Who place in Him their every trust.
The broken heart He will not hide,
Nor cast the wounded soul aside.
Though many trials the righteous see,
The Lord shall bring them victory.
No bone was broken, Scripture said,
Concerning Christ who suffered, bled.
The Lamb of God for sinners slain,
Who rose in glory once again.
So bless the Lord through joy and pain,
Through sunshine bright and pouring rain.
Let every tongue and nation see,
The Lord alone can set men free.
โO magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.โ โ Psalm 34:3
