Proverbs 1 — A Rhyming Cartoon Poem

In halls of gold where wisdom shone,

Sat King David with his son alone,

Young Solomon with listening ear,

To hear the truth both right and clear.

“My son,” he said, “come draw in near,

There’s something sacred you must hear,

For wisdom’s path is straight and true,

And life depends on what you do.”

“The fear of God—beginning bright,

Is walking humbly in His sight,

Not dread, but love, respect so deep,

A truth your heart must always keep.”

✨ God knows the thoughts you hide away,

❤️ God loves you more than words can say,

🛡️ God cares each step along your way,

So walk with Him from day to day.

“Beware the voices in the street,

That call you down to dark deceit,

They laugh, they tempt, they promise gain,

But lead the soul to loss and pain.”

“They rush to sin, they do not see,

The trap they set will make them flee,

For what they sow will come again,

A harvest born of foolish men.”

Then Wisdom cried with lifted voice,

“Turn now to God, make Him your choice!

I call, I plead, don’t turn away—

For now is still the saving day!”

But many mocked and would not hear,

They chose their path without God’s fear,

Till trouble came like crashing wave,

And none were left their souls to save.

Yet David smiled with hopeful grace,

As truth lit up young Solomon’s face,

“For those who listen, peace shall stay,

And God will guide them all their way.”

So choose, dear heart, while yet you can,

To walk with God, His perfect plan,

For wisdom’s voice still calls today—

👉 Will you now hear… or turn away?
