She guards your steps, she lifts your head,

Stumble in the night.

Above all else, now guard your heart,

Are shaped by what’s therein.

Let not your mouth speak crooked things,

Keep straight your eyes, don’t turn aside,
Stay focused while you run.

Turn not to left, nor to the right,
But walk the narrow way,
For wisdom leads to life and peace,
And keeps your feet each day.

So choose the path that shines with light,
Let God your steps impart,
For he who walks in holy truth
Has peace within his heart.
