📖 Proverbs 2 — A Rhyming Poem

O seek for wisdom, pure and bright,

As hidden gold beneath the night,

Dig deep within with heart sincere,

And you will find the Lord is near.

For knowledge does from God proceed,

He gives the soul the truth it needs,

Not by might nor human way,

But by His voice that leads each day.

When wisdom enters in your heart,

From evil paths you shall depart,

Discretion stands beside your way,

To guide your steps and keep you safe.

From crooked tongues and darkened minds,

From those who leave the truth behind,

From paths that lead the soul astray,

God’s wisdom turns your feet away.

From tempting words so smooth and fair,

That hide a trap and secret snare,

Though sweet they sound upon the ear,

Their end is sorrow, death, and fear.

But those who walk in righteous light,

Shall dwell secure both day and night,

Planted firm, they shall remain,

With joy that overcomes all pain.

The wicked fall, their roots undone,

Like fading grass beneath the sun,

But those who trust the Lord above,

Shall stand forever in His love.
